    Apart from being a highly respected scholar, Shaykh Haytham is specialised in the science of Hadith and has done critical analysis and editing to books of Hadith.

    His learning has been passed down in an unbroken chain going back to the Prophet (peace be upon him)

    In his class, Shaykh examines each Hadith from multiple perspectives – the background, the historical context, the narrator, the authenticity and how the Hadith fits with other narrations on the topic and showing how each School of Thought interpreted it.

    Most importantly he explains how the Hadith can be applied to our lives.

    Shaykh is exploring the Hadith in the collection of Hadith by Ibn Hajar Al Asqalani, Bulugh Al Maram which is used by Fiqh scholars to derive rulings.

    Begin your Ramadan with an evening of connection, reflection and warmth as the Utrujj community comes together for a truly special Iftar gathering. This year, we are excited to welcome you to our new venue, the elegant Zarreen Banqueting Suite, beautifully set up to accommodate families, children, and individuals seeking a spiritually uplifting experience during the month of Ramadan.

    The evening will begin with a gentle welcome at 4:15pm, followed by Maghrib at 5.39pm and a delicious community dinner. We’ll enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with time to reconnect before preparing for ‘Isha and Tarawih prayers from 8.00pm to 9.30pm, allowing you to experience both the beauty of worship and the warmth of community in one serene setting.

    Whether you come with family, friends, or on your own, this gathering is designed to inspire, uplift, and help you begin Ramadan with clarity, intention and joy.

    Spaces are limited and early bird tickets (£28 and £15) (are available until 5th Jan 2026). Thereafter ticket prices will be adult £32 and child £18. Please secure your place early to avoid disappointment.

    • How can we draw on Qur’anic wisdom and Sunnah to face modern realities with dignity, beauty and strength?

    By the end of the retreat, you will, insha’Allah, return home fortified and motivated, equipped with clarity, tranquillity, and the tools to live with renewed purpose.
