This website is owned by Utrujj and any uses made of the website (including any registrations and transactions entered into via the website), are subject to the terms and conditions set out on this page. Utrujj may, at its sole discretion, modify or revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating the text of this page.
booking policy
For our regular one day and weekly courses, the following policies apply:
- If you do not book 3 days in advance of a one day course you are not guaranteed a handout
- If you do not book 3 days in advance of a weekday course you are not guaranteed a handout on the first day but should get one the following week
- If you book to pay on the door you will be guaranteed a handout (as long as you booked 3 days in advance) but you have to pay £10 extra
- If you turn up at the door without booking you are more than welcome, subject to capacity of the venue, but you are not guaranteed a handout and you have to pay £10 extra
- For advance bookings your place and handout are only guaranteed, as stated above, provided you arrive and register for the course before the course start time.
cancellation by Utrujj
We reserve the right to cancel any courses or events. In the event of cancellation by Utrujj we will refund any fees paid in full but not any additional expenses incurred by you.
cancellation by you
All cancellations will be fully refunded, except if less than 3 days notice is given, in which case a 10% fee will be charged. A separate policy applies for our special courses such as Beehive, retreats, Tajweed and Islamic finance.
refunds
All refunds will be paid to your credit/debit card via paypal if it was originally paid in this way. If method of payment was by cash or cheque, your refund will be by cheque. Please be aware that this may take up to 4 weeks.

When paying for any course or other event, service or item from our website, you will be taken to our payment transaction provider's secure page to enter payment information. We do not store any financial or payment information in our systems.
We have put into place the appropriate technological procedures and practices to protect the information which is collected when using our website.
We have ensured that Utrujj administrators or agents processing personal information on behalf of Utrujj are aware of their obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998 and our Privacy Policy

Video and photography at our events and courses
Most of our courses and events are recorded on video camera and/or photographs may be taken. Some of this footage and/or photographs may be used for future marketing materials or on our website.
We will usually notify you when any images of students may be taken and you will have the opportunity to advise us if you do not wish for any image of yourself to be taken. However, if you do not wish for any image of yourself to be taken, we would advise that you let the course administrator and photographer know on the day so you can be seated in order to assist with meeting your request.

The website is designed to use 'session cookies' in order to function properly. You may use the site without cookies but some of its functionality may be lost and certain pages may not display. Cookies are used to track the use of the site and cannot be used by us to identify who you are.

We may request your feedback or for your participation in surveys on the website or via email which may require both personal and non-identifiable data. Where we ask for personal information, we will use this to correspond with you directly regarding your responses.
