Ramadan Kareem!

The exciting month of Ramadan is here with us once again. I pray we are all making the most of this Blessed month.  We at Utrujj make dua that Allah swt accepts all our good deeds, purifies our hearts and forgives us of our sins.

As I’m sure my dear brothers and sisters we are all aware, this is a special time to also help us renew our devotion to Allah swt but it is also a month of charity.

With these two things in mind, Utrujj would be honoured for you to join us to break fast together.  Our iftaar we will be blessed to not only have a short reflection given by Sheikh Haytham Tamim to spirirtually uplift our souls but also Islamic Relief will be there to help fund raise for some of the world’s poorest people. For this reason, please be ready to not only enjoy yourself but also ready to dig deep!

(O Prophet!) Tell those of My servants who believe that they should establish Prayer and spend out of what We have provided them with, both secretly and openly, before there arrives the Day when there will be no bargaining, nor any mutual befriending. (14:31)
